Crowns & Veneers from only £375 per tooth

A veneer is a very thin layer of porcelain about 1 mm in thickness, that’s bonded to the front of your existing tooth.

A crown is about 2 mm in thickness and covers the whole tooth. It can be porcelain or metal.

Your dentist at Rooted Dental will discuss what is right for you depending on the condition of your teeth, but both are great options to restore discoloured and cracked teeth.

2

Second appointment

Your teeth are minimally prepared to create enough space for your porcelain or metal veneers/crowns.
3

Temporary fitting

Your Rooted dentist will provide temporary veneers/crowns for around 2-3 weeks.

What are the benefits of veneers?

If you are concerned about misshapen, chipped or discoloured teeth, veneers can offer a long-lasting cosmetic solution with a natural finish.

The porcelain finish mimics the qualities of natural teeth, helping you achieve a brighter, natural looking smile.

Porcelain veneers are also more stain resistant and durable than cosmetic bonding, and if looked after properly, can last for many years.

Veneers offer a gentler approach to altering a tooth’s shape or colour than crowns, as only a small amount of enamel has to be removed to fit the veneer. However, they offer similar strength and very natural looking results.

What are the benefits of crowns?

Dental crowns are custom made to fit your smile - your rooted dentist will design your crown according to your exact specifications in terms of shape, size, colour, and fit.

Little recovery time - patients can resume their normal oral hygiene routine such as brushing and flossing the next day.

They will help restore your smile - since they fit over the tooth, they can instantly correct discolouration, staining, misshapen teeth, crookedness, chips, cracks, fractures, and more.

Alternatives to crowns and veneers

Cosmetic bonding - bonding is a fast, non-invasive procedure which can usually be completed in a single appointment. A composite resin is attached to the tooth to restore its natural shape and colour.

Orthodontics - fixed or removable braces can be used to straighten misaligned teeth and close gaps. Advances in orthodontics mean that braces can now be virtually invisible.

Tooth extraction - you never want it to come to this, but removing a tooth is actually one of the only permanent ways to get away from having to get a crown. Your Rooted Dental dentist will then be able to discuss the option of implants, dentures and bridges as a possible solution.
